Young Adult Wellbeing Specialist

So, the idea of therapy can be a little intimidating. My hope is that I'll make it a safe enough place for you to feel good about taking that first step in your very own journey of growth and exploration.
Whether you’re a child, teen, or young adult, life can be pretty hard. It can be easy to fall into a pattern of anxious or depressed moods, feeling like you don't fit in, or struggling to adjust to changing environments or relationships. Finding creative ways to help you work through these and other challenges makes my heart beat fast -- I actually love it. I strive to produce an environment where you feel validated, heard, and empowered so that together we find a better way to move through this world as well as possible.
I specialize in Female Youth and Young Adults and my areas of particular focus include anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, relationship issues, grief & loss, life transitions, mood disorders, school issues, and women's issues.
As a level 200- RYT Yoga Practitioner and Counselor, I utilize various mindfulness techniques such as gentle yoga, meditation and progressive muscle relaxation to help clients gain insight in their mind-body connection, regulate emotions, manage challenges and better understand themselves. In addition to mind body based techniques, I use approaches like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered, Humanistic, Mindfulness, and Play Therapy to help best meet your desires for counseling.
